Community Service Committee

Mission: Utilizes the professional skills and knowledge of the individuals within BOMA to improve the facilities of selected charities. Volunteers include all members. Meets monthly and reports to the Community Service Director.

Projects The Community Service Committee (CSC) is involved in many ongoing projects throughout the metroplex. These projects include: Adopt-A-Block, Cell Phones For Life, Angel Tree, Fill-A-Backpack and Fill-A-Basket.

Donations from building lobby sales and proceeds from The BOMA Benefit fund the Dallas BOMA sponsored charities.

GOOD SHEPHARD COMMUNITY CENTER
To provide quality, affordable, nurturing childcare and early developmental education for children in Far West Dallas and to serve as a community resouce center with sensitivity to diverse cultural needs.

VOGEL ALCOVE CHILDCARE CENTER for the HOMELESS
To improve the lives of young children during their critical development years and to serve thier families while homeless and through their transition to independent living. This is accomplished through the provision of high quality, free childcare and developmental services and comprehensive social services.

Interfaith Housing Coalition
Interfaith Housing Coalition provides transitional housing, training and support services for Dallas-area homeless families.

Utilizing a comprehensive and accountable approach to address the root issues of homelessness, our ministry empowers program residents to obtain permanent employment, to become self-sufficient, and to rebuild their lives and families.
