Facilities Management Administrator® (FMA)
To earn the FMA designation, you must complete these seven mandatory courses plus the one-day Ethics Is Good Business® ShortCourse™ (As of July 1, 1997*):
- Design, Operation, and Maintenance of Building Systems, Part I
- Design, Operation, and Maintenance of Building Systems, Part II
- Environmental Heath and Safety Issues
- Real Estate Investment and Finance
- Fundamentals of Facilities Management
- Technologies for Facilities Management
- Facilities Planning and Project Management
* All FMA Classroom Study Courses are $750 each (Ethics Is Good Business is $350).
* If you have never taken a BOMI course, there is a One-Time Institute Enrollment fee of $175.
CODE OF ETHICS
In addition to requiring Ethics Is Good Business®, the Institute has developed a Code of Professional Ethics and Conduct to increase the esteem of the designation and to promote honesty as an integral part of an FMA’s reputation. You will be asked to abide by this code.
