Why do you need to share your data with BOMA Dallas?

Managers that choose to participate in the BOMA Dallas Benchmarking initiative must "share" their Energy Star building information with the Master Account "BOMA Dallas."  This will allow BOMA Dallas the ability to track improvement on an ongoing basis as outlined in the BOMA 7-Point Challenge. 

What does sharing my building information with BOMA Dallas mean?

If you share your facility with BOMA Dallas, they will be able to see your username and your email address as the person who shared the facility.  They will not see your password and will not be able to make changes to your account. 

Who will have access to my building information and Energy Star scores?

BOMA Dallas is aware of the confidential nature of this information.  The goal of the organization is simply to track improvement on a regional basis - not to monitor a single building or portfolio.  BOMA Dallas guarantees that only two members of the organization will have access to the Energy Star report tool - the BOMA Dallas Executive Director and the sitting Chair of the Green Task Force Committee.
