Backpack Drive

Held end of July to mid August annually.

Each year the Community Service Committee joins forces with the BOMA Dallas membership and their tenants to provide school supplies to the children of the BOMA Dallas sponsored charities (Good Shepherd Community Center, Jonathan's Place & Vogel Alcove) and many more within our community.

Other ways you can help:
 

• Volunteer to deliver filled backpacks to the sponsored charities.
• Volunteer to assist at the "sorting party."
• Donate school supplies through a participating property.
• Bring school supplies to the July Membership Meeting.
• Donate lobby sales to the DBEI General Fund and earmark for "backpack drive."

Backpacks delivered:
2011- 1,097 given to children to head back to school in 2011
2012- 1255 given to children to head back to school in 2012

Every year we have extra supplies donated that are given out to schools.
