“Recent Developments in Controlling Legionella”
During the summer of 2015, two major events occurred regarding the control of legionella bacteria; the development of ASHRAE Standard 188 and the outbreak in New York City attributed to cooling towers which caused 12 deaths. Now that the dust has settled on these two events, we examine their impact on the commercial building market in the Dallas area and discuss what you need to be aware of as a Building Engineer to stay one step ahead of legionella.
Don English earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Texas - Austin. He has 29 years of HVAC Water Treatment experience in the Dallas area and has been a BOMA Dallas member since 1998.
